This Fall is all about making a statement, and let us do that by bringing plus-size vintage to the forefront of our wardrobes? In shopping sustainably, when was the last time you shopped plus size vintage? In a previous article, Iโ€™ve highlighted the importance of not only shopping sustainably but also shopping for one-of-a-kind vintage finds. When it comes to my own personal journey through the world of vintage fashion, in 2017, I launched More Than Your Average (MTYA). This plus-size vintage experience is oriented to attract more than your average woman.ย

The purpose of this stunning vintage boutique is to cater to women who are sizes 12+ and who may not be successful in finding inspirational pieces in a typical store. Confidently unique and effortlessly magnetic, that is the More Than Your Average woman. MTYAโ€™s foundation includes creating a space for sustainable fashion that has been cultivated to help you step out of your comfort zone, reach beyond yourself, and empower women around the world to find their own originality.

As a vintage business owner, I believe the clothes you wear impact how your showcase yourself to the world, and thatโ€™s why I decided to embark on this journey that has evolved into something greater than my wildest dreams.

There are no plus size vintage stores near me and my local thrifts have a limited selection of threadbare garbage no one would want to wear. I wish I could shop vintage, but obviously itโ€™s just not available to me.
